I’m an Entrepreneur, truth be told i’ve always been one. In 7th Grade, we didn’t have a Girls Basketball Team. And, I wanted to play basketball. So, I found some founding players, recruited a Coach, organized a form for the girls to get their parents signed permission, organized practices, found us uniforms & by the next year we had a team. We were terrible BTW, and, so was I. I believe I scored like 3points that whole season😂. But, that same team, 3Years later went on to win District Champs by the time I was in College. So, despite the 1st playing season being a complete loss for me, starting the Team was an Absolute Win for the School & County a few years later. And, I was proud of that. You may not benefit from actions you take immediately, but when others do, you realize that you started something that was bigger than yourself with an intent to Serve. And, the point was, I had a dream. And, I got started & made it a reality. At 12 Yrs Old, this was a huge manifesting lesson to master. And, that’s what launching a business is about, getting started.
Facemash’s 1st Marketing Signup Page
I GUARANTEE that I didn’t see myself here (I.e. leaving My 6Figure Corporate Finance Gig) & launching my own Startup, everyone is not made for entrepreneurial endeavors. But, there are some of us, who can only be held down by the system so long before we get to the point that we need our own system because we KNOW WE CAN DO IT BETTER🙌🏽. Plus, how many years did I need to sit in Corporate Pitching my Ideas only to see them get Shut Down or picked up 5Years Later by someone who I had pitched to upon starting in my previous role? I can’t even count because it’s been too many times. And, I was tired of asking for permission to do stuff that just seemed logical. And, I vowed to myself a while ago that if I ever started a company that I would do it differently. So here are some of ‘Rashida’s Rules Of Order’ to Launching your Startup! And remember, every single one of us gotta start somewhere. Remember, Facemash? Exactly, you don’t b/c that was the 1st Name for Facebook. It barely even saw the light of day.
